If you spend your winter holiday in our holiday apartments in Kaprun, you will get to see the romantic and sporty side of the Zell am See region! Naturally, the focus is on skiing, and so our guests can greatly benefit from the fact that the Oberaigenhof is located in the direct vicinity of the pistes of the Maiskogel family ski resort. Other great ski area such as the Schmittenhöhe and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier are located just 8 km away– there is no better place for skiers!
Great alternatives to skiing
As well as skiing and snowboarding opportunities, there are several other ways of enjoying the snowy white splendour. How about a fun toboggan ride on the Maisiflitzer toboggan run which leads directly past our farm? Either during a winter or snowshoe hike or on a skiing tour, you will see the mellow and peaceful side of the mountains. Cross-country skiing promises an active outdoor experience, and those who would like to simply enjoy the scenery without any effort at all can go on a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the charming countryside – a winter holiday in the Zell am See and Kaprun region has so much to offer!
